Spring Valley ProjectSpring Valley ProjectPershing County, Nevada • Large new discovery in Nevada • 43-101 compliant gold resource • Still open and growing • Porphyry/diatreme hosted system • Easily liberated coarse gold • 87 holes drilled in 2008; 75% hit gold The Spring Valley project is a porphyry/diatreme hosted gold system beneath pediment gravels in the Humboldt Mountains near Lovelock, Nevada. In 2009, an updated NI 43-101 compliant gold resource was estimated to be: Inferred Resource Using a $715 Lerchs-Grossman Optimization Shell
See the press release dated March 2, 2009 and the subsequent NI 43-101 technical report filed on SEDAR March 30, 2009 for more information about this resource. Midway drilling since 2004 expanded the original Pond zone and discovered the Sill, Porphyry, North Hill, Valley Breccia, West Diatreme, and new in 2008, Big Leap zones. In-fill drilling indicates that all are part of a larger gold deposit that is over 3,500 feet long by 3,500 feet wide and has been tested to a depth of 1,400 feet. Gold mineralization remains open to the northeast, southwest and at depth. Spring Valley is one of the largest gold discoveries from this exploration cycle in Nevada. Coarse gold is liberated by drilling and is collected during the sampling process. Preliminary testing of gravity processing shows up to 85% gold recovery. Preliminary bottle roll tests show up to 90% gold recovery. Additional untested satellite targets have been identified by geologic mapping, soil sample surveys, rock chip sampling, and geophysics. Permits for drilling on the North Ridge, New Pipe, and Dry Gulch targets have been received. Midway controls over 17 square miles of mineral rights through a combination of over 650 unpatented mining claims, mineral leases, and private lands.
