About Midway

Midway Gold Corp. (Midway) is a precious metals exploration company listed on the Amex Exchange and Tier-1 of the TSX Venture Exchange. Its primary focus is discovering and developing high-grade gold resources in environmentally favorable deposits within politically stable regions known for large gold endowments.

Drilling at Spring Valley, Nevada

For two consecutive years, Midway has executed one of the most aggressive and successful exploration drill programs in Nevada's "junior sector". Over 140 holes have been drilled at the Spring Valley and Midway projects, resulting in significant new gold discoveries. This success attracted the attention of Barrick Gold Corporation (the world's largest gold producer) who has joined Midway as a shareholder. Over the past year, logical planning, innovative exploration and significant discoveries by Midway has prompted Barrick to have a $10.2 million equity position in the Company.

In early 2007, Midway acquired Pan Nevada Gold Corporation. The acquisition of "Pan" added six new properties to Midway's impressive portfolio. Drilling at Pan continues to expand the existing Carlin-type resource.

Sluicing for Coarse Gold

Midway currently controls nine properties on three major gold trends in Nevada. Five of the Company's Nevada projects have significant gold resources. The Spring Valley, Pan, and Midway Projects are the company's primary focus. These three projects are open and expanding.
